I am proud to be a resident and homeowner in Carrollton and love being involved in activities and opportunities that our City affords its diverse residents. I was born in Dallas, Texas to working class parents and raised in Oak Cliff. I attended DISD schools and earned a B.S. degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. My wife, Jackie and I have been married for 38 years and live in the wonderful Country Place community of Carrollton and have two daughters, Paige and Sarah and 5 grandchildren. We are active in St. Monica's Catholic Church.
I have worked in the commercial construction industry for 50 years. I have worked in commercial design and interior planning, contract negotiation and construction management, both on the owner's side and contractor's side. For the last 11 years, I have worked on DART light rail construction projects. I came out of retirement in 2020 to work on the DART Hidden Ridge Station on the Orange Line as a Quality Assurance Inspector. Upon closeout completion of this project in the summer of 2021, I will once again retire and devote my time to working for improving our city in whatever capacity I can serve. I would love to be your City Councilman and make a difference!
